hello dear

acceleration due to gravity at the surface is given by

g=GM/(R²)

acceleration due to gravity on the height "h" is  given by

g'=GM(R+h)²

since ,h is very small in comparison of R

then ,(R+h²)≅R²+2Rh

g'=GM/(R²+2Rh)

g'=GM/R²(1+2h/R)

g'=g/(1+2h/R)
