If acceleration of the particle is constant in magnitude but not in direction,what type of path does the body follow?

The particle will follow any curved path ( circular or elliptical etc.) except straight line path. Because in straight line path direction of acceleration remains same.

The particle will follow up the curved path which can be elliptical or circular in nature.

This is due to the straight line path in the direction of acceleration that will remain the same.

However, if the acceleration is different than there is a possibility that the path taken by a particle will differ.
