If acetic acid is added with sodium hydrogen carbonate, then the reaction will produce gas. If we allow the gas to pass through lime water, then the water would not turn milky. Is it correct?

Carbon dioxide is the only gas which turns lime water milky. This activity proves that carbon dioxide gas is evolved when ethanoic acid reacts with sodium hydrogen carbonate.
