Answer: Statement: Newton’s third law of motion states that when one object exerts a force on another object, the second object instantaneously exerts a force back on the first. These two forces are always equal in magnitude but opposite in direction. These forces act on different objects and never on the same object. B . Action and reaction both are not acted on the same body. So there is no chance of cancellation.

Question :-
If action is always equal to reaction explain how a horse can pull a cart explain in points maximum.
Answer :-
The horse applies force on the ground .
According to Newton's third law of motion " Every action has an equal and an opposite reaction " .
Hence the force exerted by the horse also has an opposite reaction .
The force exerted by the horse on the ground is the applied force or action.
The ground in return also exerts a force on the horse which is the reaction .
This reaction force of the ground helps to move the cart of the horse.
Hope it helps !
