case 2 : speed = 4km/h, time = (t - 5 min)
= (t - 5/60) = (t - 1/12) hrs
so, x = 4(t - 1/12) .........(2)
from equations (1) and (2),
3t + 3/12 = 4t - 4/12
⇒t = 7/12
putting in equation (1),
x = 3(7/12 + 1/12)
= 3 × 8/12 = 3 × 2/3 = 2 km
