Let c be x ⇒ c = x

d is 25% of c ⇒ d = 0.25c

b is 150% of b ⇒ 1.5c

a is 75% of b ⇒ a = 0.75(1.5c) ⇒ a = 1.125c

Find the ratio a : d

a : d = 1.125c : 0.25c

Divide by c: on both sides:

a : d = 1.125 : 0.25

multiply by 8 on both sides:

a : d = 9 : 2

Answer: The ratio is 9 : 2

a = 75 % of b = 0.75 b

a / b = 0.75 ------(1)

b= 150 % of c = 1.5c

b / c = 1.5 -----(2)

d = 25 % of c = 0.25 c

d / c = 0.25 ----(3)

multiply (1 ) and (2) , we get ,

a / c = 0.75 × 1.5 = 1.125 --(4)

now , divide (4 ) by (3) , we get

a / d = 1.125 / 0.25

a / d = 9 / 2

a : d = 9:2
hope it helps

TheLostMonk: you reported it , but its correct
