Answer:

Compare 4x² - 2x + ( k - 4 ) with

ax² + bx + c ,

a = 4 ,

b = - 2 ,

c = k - 4 ,

Product of the zeroes = c/a

Alpha × 1/alpha = ( k - 4 ) / 4

1 = ( k - 4 ) / 4

4 = k - 4

4 + 4 = k

8 = k

Therefore ,

k = 8
