we \: know \: that \:  \\  \alpha  +  \beta  = (p \div 1) \\ and \:  \alpha  \beta  =( q \div 1) \\  \alpha  {}^{2}  +  \beta  {}^{2}  =  (\alpha  +  \beta ) {}^{2}  - 2 \alpha  \beta  \\  \alpha  {}^{2}  +  \beta  {}^{2}  =( p) {}^{2}  - 2q
