if all alveoli is almost equal to tennis court so why we are not big like a tennis court

There are about 600 million alveoli in your lungs and if you stretched them out, they would cover an entire tennis court.

the total surface area of the alveoli is very very large-roughly the size of a Tennis Court. The lungs are not equal in size...The left lung is smaller because of the space taken by the heart
