Principal Focus

Explanation:

When rays parallel to principal axis fall on convex mirror, they get reflected through the principal focus of mirror.

Let's explain by the diagram

P = principal axis

F = principal focus

C = Curvature

i = angle of incidence

r = angle of reflection

In diagram a ray is parallel to the principal axis (P)  and after reflecting from mirror it pass through point Focal point (F).

In this diagram we can also see that angle of incidence is equal to angle of reflection.
