If all the the members of one particular trophic level are removed , then it will directly effect the environment in many ways like the population of another trophic levels will increase or the trophic level which depends on that one will directly die off.

Every trophic level in a food web is important because each level depends on the level below it for food energy.

For example : if members of 1st trophic level i.e.producers will get removed then consumers can even die due to shortage of food.
