if alpa, beta are the zeroes of the polynomial p(x)= x²+x+1, then find the sum of their reciprocals (i.e. 1/alpa+ 1/beta)

1/alpha+ 1/beta = beta+alpha/alpha×beta (by taking LCM
now substituting value of alpha+beta=-b/a and alpha×beta=c/a
=-b/a divided by c/a
therefore it will be equal to -b/c
= -1/1 =-1
