we know that (a+b)^2= a^2+b^2=2ab

a+b= -7/2 (using sum of zeroes formula)

a*b= 3/2 (using product of zeroes formula)

(a+b)2= a2+b2+2ab

=>-(7/2)2=a2+b2+2*3/2

=>a2+b2= 49/4-3

=37/4
