Heya mate!!!

Gud Morning....

Here is ur answer:

  • The quadratic polynomial is
  •  {x}^{2}  - x - 2 = 0
  • Let's find the zeoes of this quadratic polynomial by splitting the middle term or any other method.

 {x}^{2}  + x - 2x - 2 = 0

x(x + 1) - 2(x + 1) = 0

(x + 1)(x - 2) = 0

x =  - 1 \: or \:  2

  • We have got the value of alpha and beta. Let's substitute it to find the required answer.
  •  \alpha =  - 1 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \beta  = 2

 \frac{1}{ \alpha }  -  \frac{1}{ \beta }  =    - 1- \frac{ 1}{2}

 =  \frac{ - 2  - 1}{2}  =  \frac{ - 3}{2}

Hope this hlps uuu...
