IF ALPHA AND BETA ARE THE ROOTS OF THE QUADRATIC EQUATION 2x 2 -13x+2=0, find the value of (alpha 2 + beta 2 ).

alpha+beta=-b/a
2 (alpha+beta)=2 (-b/a)
2 (alpha+beta)=2 (-(-13)/2)
2 (alphs+beta)=13
