Let a and b be the roots of the quadratic equation,x²+x+1=0

We have,

x²+x+1=0

To find: 1/a + 1/b

★Some Rules of Polynomial

•Sum of Roots: -x coefficient/x²coefficient

•Product of Roots: constant term/x²coefficient

Here,

Sum of Roots:

a+b= -1

Product of Roots:

ab= 1

Now,

1/a +1/b

→ (a+b)/ab

→ (-1)/1

→ -1

Hence, -1 is the solution of 1/a + 1/b
