Let the roots of the below equation be a and b
 {x}^{2}  - 5x + k = 0
from this , we can get a+b=5..(1) and ab=k .it is also given that a-b=1 ..(2) Add equations (1)&(2),we get 2a=6=> a=3 . then b=2. So ab=(3)(2)=6. Hence value of k is 6. Hope it helps you...Mark me as Brainliest.
