Solution

2x²+x-6=0

=>+(x/2)-3=0

comparing the equations with

-(a+b)X+ab=0

now... where the roots are a and b

so...

(a+b)=1/2

and...

ab=-6

now the equations whose zeroes are 2a and 2b is....

=>-(2a+2b)x+(2a)(2b)=0

=>-2(a+b)x+4(ab)=0

=>-2(1/2)x+(-6)=0

=>-x-24=0
