Let the zeroes of the given polynomial be alpha and beta and the 2x2-4x+5 , a=2 b=-4 and c=5 then sum of zeros = alpha +beta=-(b)/a=4/2=2 and the product of zeros = alpha.beta= c/a=5/2 then they asked the value of 1/alpha+1/beta=alpha+beta/alpha.beta=2/5/2=4/5 therefore the value of 1/alpha+1/beta=4/5. Hence proved
