hey mate

here is your answer

I am using @ as alpha and # as beta

given:

@ and # are the zeroes of the polynomial 3x²-10x+7

on comparing the equation with ax+bx+c

we get a=3 ,b=-10 and c=7

we know that

sum of the roots (@+#)=-b/a

=-(-10)/3

=10/3

product of the roots (@#)=c/a

=7/3

thus

@²+#²=(@+#)²-2@#

=(10/3)²-2*7/3

=100/9-14/3

=100-42/9

=58/9(answer)
