Answer: I am using alpha as p and beta as q

So, from eqn, p+q=-b/a

And pq=c/a

Now, p^2+q^2=(p+q)^2-2pq

= (-b/a)^2-2c/a

= b^2/a^2-2c/a

Now taking LCM as a^2

= (b^2-2ac)/a^2

Hope this is right and helps you

akileshkumarag65: Please answer for the second subdivision also.
