If alpha and Beta are the zeroes of the polynomial f(x)=x^2-9x + a, find the value of a, if 5(alpha)+4(beta) = 40​

  • first find alpha+beta and alpha beta.
  • then substitute in the 2 nd eqn..(5(alpha)+4(beta) = 40)...
  • 5alpha..is splited into 1alpha+4alpha
  • after finding the value of alpha and beta...we can easily find value of a
