Answer:

Given p(x)=3x²-2x-6 a=3 b= -2 c= -6

alpha + beta = -b/a

= -(-2)/3 = 2/3

(alpha)(beta)=c/a

= -6/3 = -2

alpha³+beta³=(alpha+beta)³-3(alpha)(beta)(alpha+beta)

=8/27-3(-2)(2/3) = 8/27+4 = 108+8/27 = 116/27
