now

3x2 - 5x - 2

by splitting the middle term

=3x2 - 6x + x - 2

=3x(x - 2) + 1(x - 2)

=(x - 2)(3x + 1)

therefore two zeros will come

first is x = 2

and second is x= -1/3

let alpha is equal to 2

and beta is equal to minus 1 by 3

therefore

alpha 2+beta 2

=2^2+ -1/3^2

=4 + 1/9

=37/9
