2x²+5x-10=0

Sum of zeroes

=α+β =-b/a

=-5/2

Product of zeroes

=αβ =c/a

=-10/2

=-5

(α+β)²=α²+β²+2αβ

(-5/2)²=α²+β²+2(-5)

α²+β²=25/4-10

=(25-40)/4

=-15/4

Therefore, α²+β² = -15/4

Hope it helps:)
