Answer:

as alpha+beta=-b/a= -3=x+y

alpha*beta=c/a= -3/2=xy

1. let x=alpha y=beta

x^2+y^2=(x+y)^2 -2xy=(-3)^2 -2(-3/2)=9+3=12

2.x^3+y^3=(x+y)^3-3xy(x+y)

x^3+y^3=(-3)^3-3(-3/2)(-3)

x^3+y^3= -27-27/2= -81/2

1/x+1/y=(x+y)/xy= -3/(-3/2)=2
