zeroes of the eqn means the roots of the eqn..
so acc. to the formula.. (i assume alpha as v and beta as w for convinence)
v+w=-b/2
vw=c/2
so 1/v^2+1/w^2=(1/v+1/w)^2 - 2/vw
=(v+w/vw)^2-2/vw
putting the values of v+w and vw that we have already obtained
we get:
b^2/c^2-4/c
