Roots of the equation are alpha and beta

on solving the eqn 2x²-7x+5

2x²-(2x+5x)+5=0

2x²-2x-5x+5=0

2x(x-1)-5(x-1)=0

(2x-5)(x-1)=0

(2x-5)=0 x=5/2

(x-1)=0 x=1

It means

alpha =5/2 and beta=1

alpha/beta + beta/alpha

(5/2)/1 + 1/(5/2)=

29/10 = 2.9
