➵ p(x) = x² - 11x + 10

Hence,

➵ a + ß = - (- 11)/1

➵ a + ß = 11

and aß = (+ 10)/1

➵ aß = 10

______________________________

➵ 2/a + 2/ß = 3aß

➵ (2ß + 2a)/aß = 3aß

➵ 2(a + ß)/aß - 3(aß)²/aß

➵ 2(11)/10 - 3(10)²/10

➵ 22/10 - 300/100

➵ - 278/100

On cancelling we get - 139/50

Answer

- 139/50
