alpha+beta=b/a
=-5/2
 \alpha \beta = c \div a \\ = 8 \div 2 \\ \\ \\ { \alpha }^{2} + { \beta }^{2} = { (\alpha + \beta) }^{2} - 2\alpha \beta \\ = {( - 5 \times 2)}^{2} - 2 \times 8 \div 2 \\ = 25 \div 4 - 4 \\ = 25 - 16 \div 4 \\ 9 \div 4

 \alpha \div \beta + \beta \div \alpha \\ = \alpha \beta + \alpha \beta \div \alpha \beta \\ = 2 \alpha \beta \div \alpha \beta \\ = 2
plz mark it brilliant

nisbu: how 16 had come
mayankjee63: when 25/5 - 4
A1111: Can you explain what you have done ?
A1111: I mean while solving alpha² + beta²
A1111: and the second one also
mayankjee63: its in formula on (a+b)sq.-2ab=(a)sq.+(b)sq.
