Sum of the roots in quadratic equation=-coefficient of x÷coefficient of x^2

alpha+beta=7÷5

Product of roots of quadratic equation=constant term÷coefficient of x^2

alpha×beta=2÷5

sum of reciprocal of the roots=sum of roots÷product of roots

=(alpha+beta)÷(alpha×beta)

=(7÷5)÷(2÷5)

=7÷2

Answer: The sum of reciprocal of roots is equal to 7÷2
