If alpha and beta are the zeros of the quadratic polynomial f(t) = t2 - 5t + 3

f(t)=t^2-5t+3=at^2+bt+c

so, a=1, b=-5 and c= 3

alpha = b/a

=-5

beta =-c/a

= -3 ANS.
