f(x)=x²-bx+1-3. ( I am taking alpha as a and beta as b)

=x²-bx-2

a+b=-b/a

=b

ab=c/a

=-2

(a+b)²=b²

a²+b²+2ab=b²

a²=-2ab

a²=2

a=√2

b=-√2

therefore, (alpha +beta )(beta+1)=1-c
