Alpha=@

Beta=¥

@+¥= - 2/5

@¥= - 3/5

here, 5x2+2x-3
by factorising,
5x2+5x-3x-3
5x(x+1)-3(x+1)
(5x-3)(x+1)
by equating with zero,
5x-3=0 or x+1=0
therefore, x=3/5 or x=-1

Now, 1/alpha+1/beta
1/3/5+1/-1
5/3+-1
5-3/3=2/3
Hope it will help you
