if alpha and beta are zeroes of a quadratic polynomial, find
 \beta  \div a \beta  + a \div a \beta  + b
can anyone help me with this?​

Sum of the roots=α+β. =−3

Product of the roots=αβ =6

α/β + α /β

= α ^2 +β ^2 / αβ

=(α+β) ^2 −2αβ / αβ

= (−3) ^2 −2×6 /6

= 9−12 /6 = −3/6 = −1 / 2

(ii)α ^2 +β ^2

=(α+β) 2 −2αβ

=(−3)^ 2 −2× 6

= 9−12

= −3
