we know
 \alpha  +  \beta  =  - b \div a
I.e
 ln( +  \beta  =  - 3 \div 4)
now
 \alpha  \beta  = c \div a
I.e
  \alpha  \beta  = 7 \div 4
hence
1 \div  \alpha  + 1 \div  \beta  =  (\alpha   +  \beta ) \div  \alpha  \beta
=>
 1 \div  \alpha  + 1 \div  \beta  = ( - 3 \div 4) \div 7 \div 4
=-3/4
