If alpha and beta are zeros of the equation 6x square plus x minus 2 equal to zero

⇒6x2+x-2=0

⇒6x2+4x-3x-2=0

⇒2x(3x+2)-1(3x+2)=0

⇒(2x-1)= (3x+2)

⇒x=1/2 or x= -2/3

⇒x=1/2 (alpha)

⇒x= -2/3 (beta)

sum :

⇒α+β

⇒1/2 + -2/3 (by taking LCM we get= 6)

⇒3-4/6

⇒-1/6

product :

⇒1/2 * -2/3

⇒ -2/6
