α + β (Sum of the zeroes) = -(Coefficient of x)/Coefficient of x^2
=> α + β = -6
αβ (Product of the zeroes) = Constant/Coefficient of x^2
=> αβ = 9
Since
α=-α
β=-β
α + β = -α -β = -(α + β) = 6
αβ = -α x -β = -(αβ) = -9
General form of a quadratic polynomial
x^2 - (α + β)x + (αβ)
=> x^2 - (6)x + (-9)
=> x^2 - 6x - 9
