if alpha and bita are the zeros of p(x) =x square-5x+sygma such that alpha - bita =1,then find sygma h

sum of zeroes=-b/a=-(-5)/1=5
product 0f zeroes=c/a=y/1
then,
a+b=5
a -b=1
by solving the equation (I) and (ii), by elimination method,
a+b=5
a -b=1

a+b=5
a+2=5
a=5-2
