GIVEN THAT,

POLYNOMIAL : 4x² - 2x + (k-4)

Zeros are α and 1/α

Now,

We know that,

Product \: of \: zeros = \frac{c}{a} \\ \\ \alpha \times \frac{1}{ \alpha } = \frac{k - 4}{4} \\ \\ 1 = \frac{k - 4}{4} \\ \\ 4 = k - 4 \\ \\ = > k = 8
