If alpha, beeta are the zeroes of polynomial p(x)=5x2+5x+1. then find the value of alpha-1 + beeta-1

Answer:

now take alpha = a and beta= b

then

sum of zero's (a+b) = (-b/a) = -5/5

a+b= -1

product of zero's (a*b) = c/a

a*b = 1/5

now value of

a-1 + b-1= a+b -2 = (-1) -2 = -3
