If alpha, beta are zeroes of the quadratic polynomial p (x) = x2 - (k-6)x + (2k+1). find the value of k if alpha + beta = alphabeta

on comparing equation with standard form...
a = 1, b = -(k-6), c = 2k +1

◆sum of zeroes = -b/a
alpha + beta. = k-6 /1
alphabeta. = k-6 -------1

◆product of zeroes= c/a
. alphabeta = 2k+ 1/1 --2

by eq 1 nd 2.
k -6= 2k+1
k = -7.
