If Amal's income is 25% more than Bimal's income then by what percent is Bimal's income is less than Amal's income.​

Answer:

Let the income of B is 'x'

then income of A = 25% more than B

=x+10025x

A=1.25x

Now, How much % B is less than A ⇒

=1.25x1.25x−x×100

=20%

suppose

Bimal income = Rs.100

Amal's income = 25% more than Bimal

= 100+(100*25/100)

= 100+25

= Rs.125

Amal's income = Rs.125

Difference = Rs.(125-100)

L%=(25/125)*100

L%=20%

Therefore, Bimal's income is less than Amal's income
