If α&β are zeroes of the polynomial f(x)=x2-8x+λ such that α-β=2, find the value of λ.

 \alpha  +  \beta  = 8.............1 \\  \alpha  -  \beta  = 2............2

adding 1 and 2

 \alpha  +  \alpha  +  \beta  -  \beta  = 10 \\ 2 \alpha  = 10 \\  \alpha  = 5 \\  \\  \\  \alpha  +  \beta  = 8 \\  \beta  = 8 - 5 = 3 \\  \\  \alpha  \beta  =  lybda\\ 5 \times 3 = 15

value of lybda is 15.
