look, intensity of the sound waves is directly proportional to the square of the amplitude of the waves meaning loudness of sound is directly proportional to the square of the amplitude so, if u double the amplitude of the wave then, the sound will become 4 times louder.

Answer:

INTENSITY = SQUARE OF AMPLITUDE

SO WHEN AMPLITUDE BECOMES TWICE ITS PREVIOUS VALU THEN

INTENSITY WILL INCREASE FOUR TIMES
