x + y + z = 180

So from there, just plug in the known values.

z = 90 (Because we know there is a right angle in our right triangle)

y = 63 (Because you were given that in the problem)*

*You can set 63 = x also. It doesn’t matter which variable we use.

So,

x + 63+ 90 = 180

Solve,

x + 153 = 180

x = 27
