Given :-

  • Total Trees = 3618
  • cashew nut, mango, and coconut tree in the ratio 1:3:5.

To Find :-

  • The number of mango trees on the farm is ?

Solution :-

As, we have given that, ratio of cashew nut, mango, and coconut tree is 1 : 3 : 5 .

Let us assume that, number of trees of cashew nut, mango, and coconut tree are x , 3x and 5x.

So,

Total trees = 3618 (given)

→ x + 3x + 5x = 3618

→ 9x = 3618

→ x = 402.

Therefore,

Mango Trees = 3x

→ Total Mango Trees = 3*402 = 1206. (Ans.)
