if an angle is 16 degree more than its complement , then find its measure

here is your answer

consider the angle as x

x + x + 16 = 90 \\ 2x + 16 = 90 \\ 2x = 74 \\ x = 37

angle =x=37°

complementary angle =x+16=53

x+x+16=90

2x+16=90

2x=74

x=37

angle =x=37°

complementary angle =x+16=53
