It's compliment = (90 - x )°.
According to the question ;
x = ( 90 - x ) - 18
⇒ x + x = 90 - 18
⇒ 2x = 72
⇒ x =
⇒ x = 36
Therefore,
x = 36°
And, it's compliment = 54°.
Compliment Angle - The angles which make their sum equal to 90°.
If an angle is α°
It's compliment = (90 - α)°
