let one angle = x
it's complement=90-x
one angle = 30 degrees more than one half of its complement
x=1/2(90-x)+30
x=(90-x+60)/2
2x=150-x
2x+x =150
3x =150
x=150/3
x=50
Therefore
one angle =x =50
complement angle =90-50= 40

I hope this helps you.

Greetings..!!

Complementary angles are two angles which sum up to 90°.

Let one angle be x°.

Then , other angle =  30 more than half of x = (1x/2+30)°

So,these two angles must add up to 90°,as :

⇒x + 1x/2 + 30 = 90

⇒3x/2 = 90-30 {transposing 30 to R.H.S and adding x to 1x/2}

⇒3x = 60*2

⇒x = 120/3

⇒x=40° = First angle

Second angle = (1/2*40)+30 = 20+30=50°

Answer : 40° and 50°.
